We went to Monterey for our friends wedding last Saturday. We had a great time introducing Isabelle and catching up with some college friends. On Sunday we went down to the pier and unfortunatley had the world's worst clam chowder. Good clam chowder should be required if you have a restaurant on the water. Thankfully it was a beautiful day and we were able to see some sea lions. On the way home we stopped by my grandma Arden's house. This was her first time meeting Isabelle. We had a great visit.
Isabelle is getting so big. She now weighs 11 lbs. Her little cheeks are getting so chubby and she is getting little lots of little rolls. More close up pictures to come.
I am not sure why this picture is sideways, but these sea lions were sitting on the rocks just below the peir. There were so many sea lions, so close you could almost touch them.

As a little added bonus...before I left my job, a client gave me a gift certificate for a photographer. She came to our house when Isabelle was 2 days old and then again at three weeks. If you would like to see some Isabelle's pictures, here is a link to her blog.
